A broken vow

MARRIAGE is a decision, a choice and a LASTing vow. It should not be based upon, motivated, nor destroyed by LUST.

LUST is just TEMPORARY, but LOVE LASTS forever.

The person whom you marry whether he or she will no longer be physically attractive or desirable in your eyes in the future because he or she will gain much weight and wrinkles will make him or her look much older and he or she will not be as sweet, caring, loving and kind as you first met him or her MUST be the same person sitting next to you while you're watching TV, reading books, drinking coffee, buying groceries, taking pictures, so on and so forth.. for the rest of your life, because he/she is the same person you chose to be with all the days of your life the moment you say "I do" in the midst of your family, friends and especially in front of God.

You must not replace him or her with a younger or more attractive one just because you thought you're falling out of love. It would be better that you did not promise "till death do us part" when you're unsure of your decision by not keeping or honoring your marriage vow.

Time is short for the devil, so he is rushing in accomplishing his mission to steal, kill and destroy. That is why we must also double time on our efforts to pray for our family or loved ones so that they'll be kept away from temptation.

The family in unity is stronger and useful in the kingdom of God, that's why the enemy wants to destroy relationships.

Let's not normalized blaming men as weak for temptation entitling them as "men are born to be like that, let them be." Every one is vulnerable to attacks if you're lacking prayer and ignorant to the works of the enemy.
