Determined according to the botanical key provided in The Flora of the Republic of Macedonia (Micevski, 1995) as Chenopodium botrys L. The accepted name in the Euro+Med PlantBase (source: Uotila, 2011) is Dysphania botrys (L.) Mosyakin & Clemants.

Lifeform:  Аnnual, therophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Native from Central and South Europe to Mongolia, Central Himalaya and Arabian Peninsula according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat: Rocky terrains, stony habitats and sandy soils.

Flowering period:  Summer: JUN, JUL, AUG.
