"We don't see things as they are,
we see them as we are."
- Anais Nin

My Pondering

Our perspective is so critical to seeing the truth accurately.

Ignorance is only bliss so far. Once we understand the truth then we know what we are dealing with.

This quote prompts me to think of this verse:

"How can you think of saying, 'Friend, let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,' when you can't see past the log in your own eye?

Hypocrite!

First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend's eye."

Jesus, Luke 6:42

The best way I know how to get a clear view of the truth is to triangulate our own view compared to our Creator's and other trusty well-intentioned people's.
