Here is my five suggestions for this week.

Social Issues

Firstly here is episode 16 in the amazing Black American History series on Crash Course's channel with Clint Smith. In this episode Clint talks about Scott vs Sanford, the conflicts about citizenship, the Louisiana Purchase and the prejudice of Roger Taney. As always an excellent, interesting and thought-provoking episode.

Poetry

Secondly here is an excellent poem from J.R. Martin called Influenced Fractured Heart. J.R. reads the poem and talks about the inspiration and story behind the poem in this Open Mic Night session. So beautiful and heartfelt.

Music

First up is an incredible song and music video from Vanessa Williams called Dreamin'. The chemistry is acted out so well between Vanessa and her love interest in the video.

Next is a great song by Kool & The Gang called Joanna. The music video is so good. The storytelling is really really good here.

Finally here is Girls Aloud with Love Machine. An excellent music video and a really catchy tune. Very recently Sarah Harding from the band sadly passed away. May she rest in peace. My thoughts are with her loved ones at this very sad time.
