The Income Tax Department said on Saturday that on June 7, a new portal for filing income tax details will start e-filing 2.0.
According to the Income Tax Department, it will be easy to use it through mobile and on it, ITR income tax forms and simple facilities will be provided.
The department said in a tweet, "The Income Tax Department will launch a new e-filing portal on June 7, 2021." http://incometax.gov.in will be launched. This portal will work in place of the current http://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in.
The department has said that this new portal will also have a new mobile app on which the taxpayers will be able to access guidelines at every step through user manuals and video clips.
The department has said that e-filing services will not be available from June 1 to 6 before the new portal is introduced. The department has suggested to the taxpayers that if they want to get any reply or service, then apply before or after this dates.
