This is the 12th post about the transition of a piece of waste ground, with an assemblage of mostly wild native plants, into a designated wild garden. We move on a year to 2021. Initially the area remained much the same as the previous year - but things began to change. Periodically, all the vegetation was cut right down to the ground and I noticed a few additional plant species making a natural appearance. There were more grasses and nettles. First (top gallery) shows some of the different species that I discovered. Second (lower gallery) shows some general views of the patch.
