I had another encounter with the Snowberry Clearwing Moth-Hemaris diffinis yesterday afternoon. I made a bunch of images, most of which were pretty similar to what I pasted a bit earleir this month. But I did get two that were different and in keeping with my little proboscis project. But the better of the two had some of the wing clipped at the edge of the frame. This one isn't too bad but as with all of them the wings are blurred.

I think I need to up the ISO and adjust the exposure to get the wings sharp. I haven't tried that with the flash but I am sure I'll figure it out. Or else abandon the flash entirely. We're never done learning about photography and it's easy to just keep doing the same things all the time.
