A half-century ago, the Teamsters were one of the USA's most powerful labor unions, and also one of the most corrupt. They're still powerful, but they shed the old corrupt leadership many years ago.
This 18-minute video is a good portrait of today's Teamsters and a good explanation of the issues in the likely upcoming strike against United Parcel Service. Millions of other American workers face the same issue.
