Your friend didn't help you celebrate your birthday, but help other friends celebrate.
Take it personal.
Family members invite certain family members to gatherings but not you.
Take it personal.
Someone says or does hurtful things to you.
Take it personal.
Your friend jumps for everybody else but moves slow motion when it comes to you.
Take it personal.
You feel left out. Unheard. Unseen. Judged.
Take it personal. Because it is.
…
A friend reaches out to say I love you and that they are thinking of you.
Take it personal.
You are invited to spend quality time with your family or friends. A reunion. A dinner. A holiday party.
Take it personal.
Your babies want extra snuggle time. To sleep in your bed. To go on an adventure with you.
Take it personal.
You feel loved. Respected. Cared for. Valued.
Take it personal. Because it is.
People treat you exactly how they feel about you. And it's okay to take that personally.

My Pondering
Yeah, that's nice and insightful and definitely has some merit as a human being.
The question is who and what should change, starting with me and then to looking at you.
The problem I personally have, is thinking life revolves around me, sad to say.
Too many people are people pleasers, with everything starting with Me. "Me, me, me and mine." They get stuck listening to station WIIFM. What's In It For Me.
