Dyer's Polypore-Phaeolus schweinitzii   My first image on my way in to the meadow where I found the Stream Cruiser ad then later the Appalachian Brown. I thought that after making this series that even if I struck out in the meadow at least I found a new to me fungus. I am not 100% sure about the ID. iNaturalist suggested it and the accompanying images seemed similar. I thought the texture and water drops from the rainfall the previous night were worthy of a closeup. What I was hoping to find, and did, coming tomorrow.
