Jentezen Franklin in one of his preaching mentioned that, "True conversion is when after you receive Jesus Christ as your Savior and Master, you would ask Him, "What would you want me to do? Do you want me to change my job, leave my job, change my friends? What would you want me to do for you? What do you want me to change? Who do you want me to change? Where do you want me to change? Show me who do you want me to be."
If you don't ask (these kind of) questions, you are not saved. If after knowing Christ, you will still stay in your old sinful life and does not bother, you are not truly converted.
If you are truly saved, you would not care who would like you or not, you will just follow Jesus. You would not care if you would go to jail for following Jesus. You would not pray, "Lord, save me from jail…I do not want to suffer." But you would say, "I am willing to go to jail with Jesus. I will not turn back to my old life!"
To God be the glory!
