I have always been subconsciously fascinated by Devil and Magician combination. Sometimes, I feel they are similar in certain aspects and different in other aspects.
Let us see their personalities first
Magician is creative people who are used to take the initiative. They are great at selling themselves.Magician tarot card as a personality type is someone who can manifest and create almost anything they put their minds to.
Devil people are very stubborn and they are often chained to their own stubborn ways like slaves. They are highly sexual people. Devil tarot card denotes someone who has a very strong will and often executes this strong will to gain power and control over others.

- Magician is a performer where as Devil is Controlling person. Magician uses people's curiosity where as Devil uses people's weakness.
- The magician can create things for his own benefit, the Devil has to work with what he has and manipulate to earn his gain.
Both the Devil and Magician can be Seductive, Charming and Enticing

The Magician has yellow background which is all about positive and happy vibes, where as Devil has black background which gives negative and deppressive vibes. Its funny how polar opposite are the vibes of both the cards.

The posture of Magician and Devil are similar with one hand up and one hand down.

The Magician guides you to believe in yourself and act to manifest the life you want. Whereas,
The Devils guides you to believe that you are not weak and break free of the trapped situations and unhealthy addictions and shadow self.
Both cards emphasize on believing in one's self and one's power and not considering one weak to get positive results.
