A group of DASD students from Harvest Intermediate and DeForest Area Middle School competed in the Math 24 tournament on February 28, with students at each grade level placing at the top of the competition.
Fourth-grade Team

The seventh-grade Math 24 participants were very successful; DeForest took the top five places in the seventh-grade A division. The way the competition is scored, Colin Flaherty took first place for the school with the most points overall. The students practiced and challenged each other and that really paid off.
