What did you recently finish reading?
I only finished one book since last week, but this one is a big deal. Drum roll please . . . . .
I finished Blood Bonds by Yasmine Galenorn, the 21st AND FINAL BOOK OF THE OTHERWORLD/SISTERS OF THE MOON SERIES!! I MADE IT!! That last book was a bit of a roller coaster, as was this whole series, but I enjoyed every minute of it. For anyone who wonders why I'm so excited, this series took me literally all year to finish - actually longer, since I reread the first book at the end of 2021. Between reading slumps and other real life nonsense, I honestly didn't think I would get through all the rest of these books this year, but I did!
What are you currently reading?
I am still currently reading Daughter of the Moon Goddess by Sue Lynn Tan with the book club over at Fable. I am enjoying that group so much and can't wait to start our next read together in January. I am also still reading A Beautifully Foolish Endeavor by Hank Green. Honestly, I put both of these reads aside as I powered through the Otherworld books, but I plan to finish both of them this week. I'm pretty close already.
What do you think you'll read next?
The only thing at the moment that I'm committed to is Heart of the Sun Warrior by Sue Lynn Tan. I'm not even finished with the first book and I already need to know what happens next. Other than that, I have no firm plans. I am working on figuring out my reading goals and challenges for next year and all of that will be posted up on the blog soon.
