Two years ago, when we entered Tier 4 at the height of the coronavirus pandemic before the third lockdown followed at the beginning of January 2021, life provided us with a glimmer of hope; today, we're faced with the light at the end of the path as we slowly adjust to an entirely different normal life post-pandemic.
Despite the UK facing sub-zero temperatures after intense heatwaves during the summer, the sky and the overall scenery provide clarity as the road glistens and reflects the sunlight in the distance.
The glistening scenery and the sunlight reflecting on the road provide us with the hopeful possibility that life is going to get better now we all have a completely different mindset following the challenging two years the whole world has faced.
We're all at that stage in our lives now where we're actively rethinking and finding ways to keep our future, our health and well-being, and our security, physically, mentally, and also financially, safe.
I've learned over the past two years how much we've all changed; from having the mindset that we were going full speed with a lot of things to the immediate shutdown of the world during a challenging time, it made us all slow down and reassess our lives and the way we work, but has made us realise that we have so much more in life to give that we didn't take care of ourselves as much before as we do now.
I feel we've reached the light at the end of the path as we're looking at life differently now, actively seizing every opportunity and taking into account that we slowly realise our self-worth and potential and that it's okay to seek help in times when we feel like everything has manifested and placed the weight of the world on our shoulders.
Coming out of one of the most turbulent and testing times of our lives, I've learned that we must all look out for one another more.
We must take moments like this to appreciate and cherish the time we have, and I want all of us to spend more time with family and the friends we love.
