Legend says that Siddartha Gautama attained full awakening(bodhi) and became Buddha under a Fig tree. Buddha was so grateful to tree for having brought him enlightenment that he spent an entire week looking at the Fig Tree.
No matter where we are , deep inside we always have a desire to connect with nature, A child has a natural impulse to climb tree when he sees one big tree. We all, as children, fantasized to live in a tree house.

1 - Tree of Life
This acacia tree is in middle of bahrain desert and there is not a single drop of water to be found for many kilometers in any direction, which makes it survival a complete enigma
2 - General Sherman
Located in Sequoia National Park, California, This 2000 year old tree with with 11 meters base diameter has greatest biomass in the world.
3 - Tree of Tule
This montezuma cypress has the stoutest trunk in the world, providing shade to 500 people and needing 30 people holding hands to hug it.
