As part of our Literacy learning this upcoming week, we will be studying how the plot and stereotyping of a typical Scooby Doo episode can help us write a MYSTERY narrative.
The various T.V. series featuring Scooby Doo actually began as early as 1969! And they will be a useful tool for our learning, as (I'm SURE you're aware...) practically every episode since has followed the exact same PLOT and CHARACTERS, every time!
So for BONUS HOMEWORK - please could we request that all children have a little knowledge of Scooby Doo plots and characters. Most seem to know the series well, but there were a few... They may even wish to watch an episode!
If amenable, here is a playlist of classic 70s episodes that we will be referring to for some of our lessons... perhaps the children might be allowed to watch a few episodes in preparation (parental guidance permitting, naturally).
