Last week were were enjoying temperatures in the mid-30's whilst birding in southern Spain - see here for a blog post cover the highlights- we returned to winter in the UK! Yesterday at Cley we spent most of the time dodging the showers and keeping warm in the hides. The only birding highlight were three Little Stint, with the Dunlin flock, on Simmond's scrape. A couple of sea-watching sessions since our return have produced a good variety of ducks, including Pintail, Goldeneye and Red-breasted Merganser. Hopefully autumn birding isn't over just yet!
