Gray Determined according to the botanical key provided in The Flora of the Republic of Macedonia (Micevski, 2001). Lifeform: Annual; Therophyte according to the Raunkiær system. Distribution: Native to North America - U.S.A. to Mexico; introduced in New York, parts of South America, Europe and Asia according to the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew). Habitat: Not native to Osogovo. It is found sporadically in the lower parts of the region, in open habitats and alongside roads. Somewhat more common in the rice field area.
