There were moments this week where I was walking around in a fog both literally and figuratively.

Pausing for a moment to ponder the reasons,

all I could determine was that my DNA was recently altered due to the holiday sugar cookies and hot cocoa bombs or the never-ending omicron news has blown my mind. The universe was back to mocking me with letting me know that for awhile longer this was to be my permanent spot in the universe, but

Harper and I are beginning to have a little bit of an attitude about being fenced in again while we evaluate the risks.

Luckily as we stay close to home, we're quickly reminded before any rants about missing loud restaurants, bars, concerts and sporting events, that our spot in the universe is surrounded by peaceful places and

soothing solitude

blessed with special souls and hopefully an exciting win by the University of Michigan over Georgia in the Orange Bowl tonight.
