The vaccination rollout for children aged 12-17 years old with commorbidities or under A3 priorities was launched October 29, 2021 in Davao City.
The city government of Davao announced in its website that the vaccination was held at the compound of Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) in the city. The ceremony was attended by DOH Assistant Secretary Roy B. Ferrer, DOH Regional XI Director Dr. Annabelle Yumang and Davao City Health Office representative Dr. Aldrich So.
The public vaccination roll-out for children aged 12-17 that belongs to A3 priority list will start on November 3, 2021 in all vaccination hubs in the city.
Meanwhile, the Department of Health announced that Pediatric A3 population also said that inoculation of this sector in Davao City was also held at Seamen's Hospital and Metro Davao Medical and Research Center.
Similar vaccination rollout was also launched at the Davao Regional Medical Center in Tagum City, Davao del Norte province while Davao de Oro province vaccination activities were held in the Provincial Hospitals in Laak, Pantukan and Maragusan and the Davao Oriental province held its vaccine rollout at the Davao Oriental Provincial Medical Center and four other District Hospitals in the different areas of the province/
DOH-XI encourages parents with children 12 to 17 years old with co-morbidities to register in their respecitve local government units.
