I remembered the song, "Break It Down Again" by Tears for Fears, and it's about how all the stuff we made should be broken down into it's original form. This is like recycling. I believe that anything CAN be recycled.

Hearing the news yesterday, they said there is a CPU shortage because of work from home mandate. This made me think of recycling old CPUs into something new.

I've read an article that it's impossible to turn old CPUs into new, and it's better to turn them into solar panels instead (which is great if you ask me).

Another thought came to me, why not make CPUs recyclable? If anything can be broken down, so why not recyclable CPUs since electronic wastes are becoming a big problem.

This idea might even save us the next CPU crunch. I know Apple uses robots to reuse old iPhone components for manufacturing a new phone, and I hope other manufacturers would do the same. It's not just about saving money anymore, but saving the world.
