It's been a quieter than usual month compared to what I originally anticipated and wanted to take this opportunity to apologise for the inactivity as I've been away sorting the second photoshoot for publishing which I hadn't realised would take longer to put together.

Also, during the course of this month, myself and my mum during this month into hospital for different surgeries (10th September for my surgery and the 24th September for my mum's surgery), mine of which resulted in me being unable to publish at the frequency I would have liked to and as such I've been focused on the recovery process and I'm almost completely healed, though I'll be going for a follow-up appointment in December at the hospital so that they can see how I'm getting on to make sure everything has healed well.

In contrast, my mum's surgery which involved her full left knee replacement was successful last week, and she is slowly recovering, and it's been a long road to get to this point considering she was originally supposed to have the surgery towards the end of 2019 but her pre-op assessment was cancelled and the chances of her having the surgery she had a week ago were scuppered hence the early news coverage surrounding coronavirus three months before the pandemic was declared and then her pre-op assessment which was rescheduled for March last year was immediately cancelled alongside all pre-op assessments, surgeries and treatments.

So far, she's been sleeping in until the evening hours due to the debilitating pain she's been in as a result of her Multiple Sclerosis but being the determined woman she truly is, she's determined to get better and she's been using the zimmer frame to get around, though over the last few days she's been in so much pain she's had to stay in bed or head off to bed early because of the excruciating pain, but the good news is she is slowly recovering and we're both recovering well.

Over the next few weeks prior to my return to work, I'll be helping my mum out as we both recover, and I'll try and see if I can get this photoshoot I've been preparing published as I'm excited to show you the photos I've been working on.

Without further ado, I'll quickly summarise the articles/photos I published throughout September.

1.9.2021 - It was a peaceful start to September and as Autumn was around the corner, what better way to make the most of the last of the Summer weather than to enjoy the best of the warm and breezy weather we had.

5.9.2021 - It was with great sadness to announce the devastating news that Sarah Harding of Girls Aloud passed away at 39, coming over a year after she opened up in August 2020 about her breast cancer diagnosis during the pandemic.

10.9.2021 - It's so peaceful and warm when the day starts beautifully; that feeling of relaxation and comfort the beautiful weather brings first thing in the early hours of the morning is so refreshing.

11.9.2021 - Twenty years on from the day the world stood still, it's a painful day in the United States of America's history that everyone will never forget.

On September 11 2001, the world watched in horror as the North Tower of The World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan was struck by the first plane, American Airlines Flight 11, at 8:46 AM, which departed from Logan International Airport at 7:59 AM, followed by the South Tower, which was struck by the United Airlines Flight 175 at 9:03 AM, which left at 8:14 AM.

The 9/11 attacks were a series of four coordinated attacks by the militant terrorist group al-Qaeda, in which four commercial airlines which travelled from the northeastern of the United States were hijacked mid-flight by al-Qaeda terrorists.

American Airlines Flight 77, which departed from Dulles International Airport at 8:20 AM, was hijacked whilst over Ohio, and at 9:37 AM, crashed into the west side of the American Military Headquarters, The Pentagon, resulting in a partial collapse of the building's side.

The final flight, United Airlines Flight 93 that departed at 8:42 AM from Newark International Airport, which attempted to fly in Washington, D.C.'s direction, was the only flight not to hit its intended target, which instead crashed into a field in Pennsylvania near Shanksville at 10:03 AM.

20.9.2021 - The weather was so peaceful; there was a feeling of calm in the air and the sunset ended the day beautifully.

I wanted to take this moment to pay tribute to Sarah Harding. She was a truly inspirational musician who inspired me just like the rest of Girls Aloud inspired me and she'll forever live on in our hearts.

I wanted to also take this moment to sincerely apologise to all of you for the inactivity throughout this month. I knew I was going to have the surgery done soon but didn't anticipate it would be as early as I thought as I genuinely thought the surgery would've been sometime towards the end of the month or next month but I'm relieved that it was much earlier than planned as I've been able to slowly make a full recovery and alongside my mum who is slowly recovering, I wanted to make sure both our health and well-being came first.

Again, I sincerely apologise for the period of inactivity but I'm so determined to get the second photoshoot published as I've got a lot of catching up to do, and I'll make it up to all of you.

How did September go for you?

I would love to hear from all of you and if you missed the few photos/articles I published, don't worry as I've put them below this monthly roundup.

I love you all, and I'll see you all in October.
