Getty Center Curves #3 - Los Angeles, California

For my final picture from this curvy mini-series, we go outside. The clean, minimal architecture turned into an abstract.

I am shooting this looking up towards the sky. It's the junction of the rotunda, which I featured in the last two posts, and the adjoining wall. I took extra care so that all the lines would be square. Precision architecture requires precision framing, I suppose.

Though not perfect, it's close to the way I envisioned it. I had the benefit of the perspective correction tools in Capture One to make subtle changes to get everything lined up as closely as possible. I also experimented, flipping the picture left and right into a portrait orientation. It added another level of abstraction, which may be even better if I ever decided to print and frame this photo.
