Numbers 14:1
The Israelites Rebel against Moses

After the Israelites heard the report from the twelve men who had explored Canaan, the people cried all night and complained to Moses and Aaron, "We wish we had died in Egypt or somewhere out here in the desert! Is the LORD leading us into Canaan, just to have us killed and our women and children captured? We'd be better off in Egypt." Then they said to one another, "Let's choose our own leader and go back."

We all have a moment of weakness. In this time of tribulation, God wants us to do something, but we reject Him because of lack of faith.

In the beginning of this pandemic, many people were afraid of getting vaccinated. Not because they have lots of faith, but because of fear and doubt. Even until now, many people are still unvaccinated because they think of the side effects and are afraid. Just like the fear of the Israelites when they heard of giants living in Canaan.

So, what happened was they didn't reach the promised land God had promised because of a lack of trust. Caleb on the other hand, was able to reach the land and was blessed by God.

Numbers 14:24
But my servant Caleb isn't like the others. So because he has faith in me, I will allow him to cross into Canaan, and his descendants will settle there.
