Seven years ago, in one of the sessions, for someone in my family, who was stuck, did not want to do anything and was quite down. My worry for this person was quite high and I could not see what I could do to help them. When I asked Rose to see what was going on, one thing stuck in my mind, that has been repeated now, after the last lock down in the UK, which was harder than the others. It stopped people socializing, feeling emotions, or even feeling nothing, or putting all the emotions together. The same person mentioned feeling like they had a metal bar in the solar plexus. They felt no emotions at all, they were worried that they could not feel anything, no sadness, anger, worry or joy!
This person was going through a major change in their lives, they had to decide which path to take and were conflicting with the path they had chosen. Once they took the brave step of changing what they already planned to do, then, their emotions, little by little started to unravel and they started to feel excited, worry and sad. They started to feel! That metal bar was not mentioned again. The flow of life and energy within them started to move. I gave them a couple of craniosacral therapy and things shifted, little by little.
Just to be aware that if young and older people start to feel nothing, or blocked and they have no support or help to get things unravelled, then they might go down and in a state of no return. Depression can stay longer and they might not know how to deal with their emotions and feelings. It is possible that they put all the emotions in one basket, which then eventually will lead to feeling nothing at all. Allow yourself to feel and separate different emotions with the situation you are in, so that sadness is on one side, and when you feel joy is on another separate side! Most of all allow yourself to go through the emotions in a positive way.
Thinking positive thoughts, it is not just repeating all is going to be ok and that is it. Is allowing your emotions, what ever they are to be acknowledged and then move on and allow positive thoughts for your present time, to settle and lead the way for your future!
