Lifeform:  Perennial, hemicryptophyte according to the Raunkiær system. Distribution: Native to the Azores, Morocco, Europe to West Siberia and Turkey according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).
