I remember this scene from The Hangover where the characters wake up and find their hotel room destroyed and a tiger in their bathroom. In my third fantasy book, the main characters will have a similar experience with a potion they collectively drink. When they wake up the following morning, they find themselves unexpectedly transformed by the potion as well as having a big headache.
