Entrance, The Broad - Los Angeles, California
The corner of The Broad is no less interesting than the street-side facade that I presented a couple of days ago. The bold diagonal patterns collide dramatically. It's almost as though the building has lifted its edge to reveal the entrance.
The design mesmerizes. Certainly making me curious to see what's inside. Too bad it was past 1am and obviously closed. Perhaps on a future visit, I can make time.
Of course, what often happens to me in museums is that I like the architecture more than the artwork. It's not meant to be a slight towards the artwork. Perhaps it just showcases my ignorance. However, architecture and design are what I really find interesting. I often consider artwork as a complement to interior design.
