During lockdown, walking for exercise and pleasure has become increasingly popular. Dan Raven-Ellison has been working towards the creation of a 'Slow Ways Network' across the whole country, with a national network of walking routes connecting all of Britain's towns and villages.
There are currently over 7,000 Slow Ways stretching for over 100,000 kilometres, and the beta launch of his new web site encourages people to expand the network with suggestions of their own favourite local walks.
Take a look for yourself, and perhaps add some new routes to the network:
