Social Issues

First up we have episode 13 in Crash Course's excellent Black American History series with Clint Smith. In this episode Clint talks about slavery in the cotton industry and Charles Ball. Amazingly informative as always.

History

From Forgotten Lives, here is the story of Sarah Forbes Bonetta. I found it really interesting to hear her story. Excellent video.

Music

Next up is Seal's incredible music video for his song Crazy. I absolutely love Seal and though I love a lot of his music this track is my favourite. So heartfelt and beautiful, I love it. Seal's vocal as always is totally on point.

Next is Curtis Mayfield performing his song Move On Up in 1970. Great performance and such a bop. Always gets me dancing. 🙂

Finally we have Alex Newell's music video for Basically Over You (B.O.Y). I absolutely love this song and music video. Incredible. That whole attitude of knowing your worth. I love it.
