Kind of stretching things but this was taken in my garage. The grasshopper was dragging around some debris that was stuck to it by spider silk and struggling to get free, rolling and tumbling-not like Muddy Waters . The kindly homeowner put a finger on the silk and the hopper pulled free. My reward...a gratis photo shoot with no modeling fee.

I have always thought that grasshoppers looked like they are metal plated, like an armored insect. The lighting makes this look metallic, thus the title.
