He obeyed, and an angel stopped him from killing his son. And so, Abraham passed the test. Later, he saw a ram caught in the bushes for him to offer to God that is why the verse: "God will provide." God loves us, but He needs to test us if we truly love Him. Abraham obeyed the Lord with his whole heart, and so God was pleased that He promised Abraham many descendants, wealth and a long life.
