Russian Cuisine: Recipes from My Babushka (2020) by JR Stevens is a great cookbook.

The cookbook is divided into sections which gives you an excellent variety of dishes and drinks from the author's grandmother in categories like breakfast, appetizers and soups, mains, salads, desserts and drinks. The recipes are really easy to follow and include such recipes as Russian Cottage Cheese Pancakes, Russian Mushroom and Potato Soup, Ukrainian Borsch, Solyanka Soup, Chicken Kiev, Olivier Salad, Kutia and Russian Milk Layered Cake. Drinks include Russian Tea and Black Russian. A very interesting book about Russian cuisine which includes foods for so many different taste buds and would be extremely entertaining to cooks and people who love cooking and of course those who love eating and drinking too! 🙂

One thing with the book is that there is no pictures of the dishes and drinks apart from the cover picture but I didn't mind personally. However if someone is looking for pictures to accompany the recipes this might not be the Russian Cuisine book for you.

But really a fabulous and very interesting book.
