Man spends endless days trying to get a female co-worker to spend the night with him

Groundhog Day stars Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell in a very original and interesting movie. It is directed by Harold Ramis and co-written with Danny Rubin. The plot is essentially that Murrays character is stuck in an infinite time loop which isn't really explained beyond he wakes up each day to the same day with all his memories but everyone else resets. It's kind of great because his character is just a massive asshole for like ¾ of the movie then I guess he just runs out of things to do for himself given he spends an eternity doing them, so he starts doing things for others. And finally, once he spends a full day being kind and helping others, he gets the girl and is freed from his hellish situation. It's pretty good stuff here this Groundhog Day, you get to see him do a bunch of crazy stuff, he kills himself on screen like 5 times. Andie MacDowell is great, Bill Murray is just Bill Murray I don't really know how I feel about him, like the first maybe 15 minutes I was pretty off his performance but maybe that was the point because he starts to really turn it on from that point in and he's great. I don't necessarily think that his comedic delivery is always amazing, but he clearly knows what he's doing so carry on. There is this one scene specifically where he is driving this Ute and he's in a high-speed car chase with the police and it cuts to him in the car and he just has this groundhog on his lap and he is pretending that it's driving and he's talking to it, it is so great.

How the philosophy in 'Groundhog Day' can help us through ...
