— Lady Bookamore's Views —

Firstly, I thank the author for giving me an opportunity to review such a motivating self-help book.

The Life Optimiser is one of the shortest reads I have come across. Although content-wise there is nothing remarkable about the book, what I liked the most is the practical and no-nonsense attitude it promotes towards the concept of self-improvement.

An astonishing aspect of The Life Optimiser is that within its sleek size, the book packs up some very vital ideas and values on optimising one's skills. The book puts a lot of emphasis on certain core values such as self-confidence, faith, commitment, aspiration, and so on. Another aspect which impressed me about The Life Optimiser is the language. It's very simple and lucid, without the jargon associated with human psychology. However, what I admire most about this book is that it does not boast about the "hustle life" we all are compelled to live. A year and a half back, the world "hustler" would be an important keyword in resumes, cover letters and LinkedIn summaries. However, life in the pandemic has proved that it is really not fun to "hustle 24x7". The prioritisation of human emotions and mental health is done tacitly yet effectively through The Life Optimiser.

The only blind spot of this book is the same old content of self-motivation. It is the execution that make The Life Optimiser a unique and enjoyable read. I convey my best wishes to the author for his future endeavours.
